AVI to KVCD
Now we are ready to begin the process of conversion, the first thing is to decide what we want to privilege, the space or quality. I have done the two types of transfers, to KVCD in 1 CD with an acceptable quality and to SVCD in 2 CD 's with a quite good quality.
Now I will explain the two ways and I will start with the first, in 1 CD, for this, it exists a little software ACP that the truth it is not very well-known but it makes everything. This program comes with several others programs and what it does is that it opens and closes them until at the end it creates a file that is the one that we will record in the CD.
The fact that I tell you that you record in 1 CD obviously depends on the size of the movie, but as standard, all movies up to 120 minutes in theory should fit into 1 CD.
RECORDING KVCD IN 1 CD:
First of all, we will need to join the video with the subtitles that we synchronized, and for this, we will need a software called Conversor , in order to convert the format's subtitles srt to ssa and the VirtualDub to adjust the video with the subtitles.
I will talk about my experience with VirtualDub, when movies come with audio in MP3 it indicated an error that I never could solve, therefore I downloaded VDub-MP3 which does not present that error, also it is useful for me Nandub, next I will explain the process with Nandub , but is very similar in all of them.
The first thing is to convert the subtitles to format ssa , this is very simple, when we download the software Conversor, it does not require installation for which it comes compressed, we must decompress it directly in a folder with its name just like as we decompressed the movies with WinRar, once in the folder, we must create a direct access in our desk with the executable file.

In input file, we opened the original file searching in our directory with the button Examinar , by default it will place the output file in the other box, now, we press the button convertir and ready, we have our subtitle in ssa format
Before opening Nandub , we will have to charge the filter for subtitles VirtualDub subtitler that you can look for it in a search engine, or you can accede to it at the top of the sreen, this you will have to decompress it and stick it in the plugin folder of anyone of these software, that it is in your directory, if this folder doesn't exist, you will have to create it and then paste the file.
Next we opened the software Nandub we click in File we choose Open video file and we selected our AVI movie file and we charge it.
Next we selected in the principal screen's menu video , filter and a picture called filters will open to us where we will click in the option add and in the list we will select the one that says subtitler , that is the one that we added and we accepted, next, a new picture appears like the figure of the left, in the white rectangle above with the button at the right we will look for the subtitle file that we converted to the format ssa we enabled the pictures as it looks in the figure. If we want to see how the subtitles look, we can select Show preview and we displaced the bar of the new picture to see how it looks, next we accept and to the picture filters we click ok .
Next we press the key Control plus the key C (Ctrl +C) and a picture like the following should appear where we will have to choose the sreen DivX and next we have to select with a click on the option MPEG4v2 and then we click OK .
Next, in the principal screen, we must insure that in the menu Video the option Full processing mode is selected and that in the Audio menu the options AVI Audio and Direct Stream Copy. Once we have done this, in the principal screen we should click in the menu File next to Save as AVI , we will write a name for our film and next we accept it. In these moments Nandub should begin to compress our movie along with the subtitle, and it should be left a file with the name that we previously gave it.
Now we will use a software that is not very well-known, but it is very useful, its name is ACP (next)
